Corbett J. Browning started his career in law as an associate with this firm in 1989, becoming a partner in 1994. During Mr. Browning’s partnership with the firm, he has been practicing in the area of general civil litigation. He is the City Attorney for Waterford, providing legal advice on all aspects of public entity law. Corbett provides general business law for corporate clients, including LLC’s, partnerships and all other types of business entities
Mr. Browning also represented numerous clients in cases involving claims of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, unfair labor practices and other labor-related issues. He has also represented employers in discrimination, unfair practice charges and workers compensation issues. He has represented employers before agencies such as the Public Employee Relations Board, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board.
Corbett has two sons, Tanner & Baylor who are involved in numerous activities in the Merced Area. Corbett is very supportive of his sons’ endeavors. He enjoys golf, local baseball, and all youth sports.
